Welcome to ALightinMotion.
These Terms exist to preserve the integrity, safety and contemplative purpose of the Sanctuary.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using ALightinMotion, you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree, you should not use the Sanctuary.
2. Purpose of the Sanctuary
ALightinMotion is a contemplative digital sanctuary intended to support reflection, remembrance, faithful practice and contemplative formation.
It is not a social network, public discussion platform or substitute for professional services.
3. Personal and Respectful Use
Users may access the Sanctuary for lawful, personal and non-commercial use.
Users agree to engage in a manner that respects:
- the Sanctuary's contemplative purpose;
- the rights of others;
- the protected writings, music, artwork, symbols, software and experiences; and
- applicable law.
4. User-Created Reflections
Users remain responsible for the content they enter into the Journal or reflection surfaces.
ALightinMotion does not claim ownership of personal reflections written by users.
Users should not enter unlawful content or information they are not authorised to record.
5. My Sanctuary Identity
My Sanctuary may allow a pilgrim to establish optional account-based continuity for bounded Sanctuary context.
Establishing My Sanctuary is not required for ordinary Sanctuary use and does not transfer ownership of personal Journal reflections to ALightinMotion.
6. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not:
- interfere with or disrupt the Sanctuary;
- attempt unauthorised access;
- scrape, copy or reproduce protected content at scale;
- reverse engineer protected software beyond what the law permits;
- use the Sanctuary for unlawful, harmful or abusive purposes;
- commercially exploit protected material without written permission;
- impersonate ALightinMotion or its creator; or
- misrepresent an association with the Sanctuary.
7. Intellectual Property
All original ALightinMotion and 21st Key of Life content remains protected.
Personal use does not transfer ownership or grant a commercial licence.
8. Third-Party Services
External services, links, media, technical providers or approved account providers remain subject to their own terms.
ALightinMotion is not responsible for third-party services beyond what applicable law requires.
9. Availability and Changes
The Sanctuary may evolve, be updated or become temporarily unavailable.
Reasonable efforts may be made to preserve continuity, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
10. No Professional Advice
ALightinMotion does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice.
The Sanctuary is intended for contemplative, reflective and formative purposes.
Users should seek appropriately qualified professional support where required.
11. Responsibility for Personal Use
Each user remains responsible for how they interpret and apply the Sanctuary experience.
12. Limitation
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ALightinMotion is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from the use or inability to use the Sanctuary.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
